One of the best museums in DC!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the sheer number of people they let in makes it really, really hard to take your time and really take in the museum.

I had been the year it opened but was going to be back in DC and decided to so see it again. I was happy when I went to their website and noticed that they recommended getting tickets prior to your visit (they are free, unless you order online, then they are $1 each). I figured they finally realized the popularity of the museum and by requiring tickets, everyone would be able to get through the museum and see it all. That's not the case. It was still horribly crowded and that made it hard to see everything.

That aside, the museum itself is incredible and worth the visit. If you are looking for one or two things to see while in DC, don't miss this one! It's very powerful and important and you feel that throughout the museum.
