Butlers are useless (you meet a new one every 2 hours)
- no one communicates to each other, so you're left without your requests or calling them 2x for one thing to finally be done
In-Room Dining, food is pretty bad.
- no quality control, they will send up rotten berries or just forget half of your order
Concierge/Front Desk - useless, lazy and never follow up.
Managers: even if one follows up with you, another one forgets to actually follow THROUGH with the request. THIS IS NOT A LUXURY HOTEL with this kind of staff/service.
Here is a great example: I needed a package sent via UPS (I already had the Prepaid Mailing Label and all information, the concierge sent me an email with a 1-800 number so I can call and deal with it myself)
Overall, the hotel is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious and well appointed. But the service from the Concierge to the Front Desk to the Butlers are AWFUL. Horribly trained/do not care. It makes your stay stressful and not worth it.
When we stayed there we were in large suites, ate at every restaurant in the Hotel and gave them so many chances to do better - and they just cannot. NOT WORTH STAYING HERE. Worst St.Regis I've ever been to, hands down.
