BUYERS BEWARE - IF THE SELLER SUGGESTS THIS ESCROW...

BUYERS BEWARE - IF THE SELLER SUGGESTS THIS ESCROW OPT FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY!

I am currently in escrow with Pacific Estates Escrow for a condo that I am purchasing, my escrow agent's name is CARLO BAUTISTA. His manager's name is LEEANN (I'll get her last name).

I have never been more appalled at the lack of professionalism from a company. My escrow is scheduled to close today (Monday, April 10) however I was made aware at the end of business on Thursday (4/6) that the escrow was going to be delayed 3 days.

We've been in escrow for a month and a half (almost 45 days) and I get basically one full business day's notice that my escrow isn't going to close on time? I have painters scheduled, floor guys scheduled, movers scheduled that all have to be re-arranged and moved at the last minute. Even better - I have a tenant moving in to sublease my place so I MUST be out of my place in the next couple days.

Currently I am trying to understand why my escrow is closing two to three days after was originally stated. Apparently this is impossible - I have been calling my bank, escrow, and even the seller's realtor just to figure out why exactly I'm going to be paying an extra $700 to reschedule, store my stuff, and schedule a delayed move in.

Today (my stated close date of all days) CARLO is currently on vacation and apparently there is NO ONE else in the office who can pick up my file and explain to me why the closing date is being pushed back.
LEEANN, you are his manager - you're telling me that it is literally impossible for someone else to make sense of his notes and explain to me why I can't move into my condo?

Is this how Pacific Estates Escrow does business? When I talked to LEEANN on the phone I was given a lot of different reasons as to why it was being delayed... I called my bank and had the lender talk directly to escrow because at this point it has to be SOMEONE's fault.

I will update once this nightmare finally ends.
