Visiting the Australian War Memorial is a conflicting experience. The architecture impressive and the layout top class, the content can be disturbing.
Having recently toured many similar installations across the UK, the Australian War Memorial really stands on its own for content and intuitive access to exhibitions.
Staying for the Last Post at 5PM is a one of a kind experience. Well worth the visit.
