The check-in process and overall time I waited was very professional and short. Unfortunately, the nurse I got to see was nothing at all like that. Not only did she think I was a different patient, I felt very uncomfortable the whole time. I felt like I had to justify every decision I was making to her, I felt very judged, very alienated, and I wasn't able to bring my partner with me for my results and options counseling, even when all the women before me were able to. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I feel that if you work in a planned parenthood, you should be kind and understanding, but this nurse was not in any way a person I would see if I had the choice. I appreciate planned parenthood being there; I do not appreciate being made to feel wrong, dirty, and unwanted in that space.
