The value of Lovett is in the statement from my 9th grader. My son was asked a question at a seminar, what would you do with a billion dollars. Without hesitation he paraphrased a quote from Emerson, "....I would give majority of my billions away - donate to The Lovett School because the values I've learned about giving, I realize It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.
