Huis Marseille, a museum for photography, is housed in a beautiful canal house. This time an exhibition about Bernice Abbott. An American photographer who has been working since the 1920s. Portet photos can be seen alongside photos that give a picture of the city: skyscrapers, street scenes, cast-iron bridges, shop windows. She records what life looked like for different population groups. Everything in black and white and razor sharp.
