Xfinity retail stores are the reason I haven't cancelled Comcast. The drive time here is about the same as the amount of time I would spend on hold with a phone rep that doesn't speak decent English and won't help at all.
Our 1-year plan ran out this month and our bill jumped by $60. We can't afford that. We went in to the store and asked if they could get us a better deal... with a smile and a great attitude the rep found us a different plan which would lower our rate by 40 bucks and tack on NFL network and HBO for free.
DO NOT EVER call 1 800 XFINITY unless you have a desperately urgent issue after retail hours. Talk to a real person with an understandable accent and a great attitude. Go to the store.
