The Royal Marsden I think is able to live and survive off it's reputation. My daughter thought she was going to get the best care in the world unfortunately she should have stayed at the Kings College (who said she had a good life ahead of her with treatment) because the Royal Marsden was dirty and my daughter became infected and subsequently pain relief was was almost none existant without the intervention of family and friends who insisted and monitored the pain that my daughter was going through not the nurses or doctor. My friend told me I could stay with her whilst she died The Royal marsden failed to tell me I could sleep there 24 /7!! Why didn't they tell me?? I was not in any fit state to think straight. Finally they did not put her in a chapel of rest for me to see after she had died!! Shame on you Royal Mardsden you have millions to ensure this never happens again. Also Macmillan Nurses where were you when the snow stopped you getting to her in Brixton? the rest of london managed but you failed to get there?? Guess you both get too much money to care.
