I had no choice but to have this plan. In April all of sturdy associates were thrown into the BMCHP. So unless I wanted to find a new primary care, oncologist, gynecologist, orthopedic, surgeons, gastroenterologist and other doctors I was stuck with this insurance. I've got major health problems. I have had spinals for over 9 years, every 10 to 12 weeks for degenerative bone disease in my spine, they decided they were not going to let all the people that had to switch with all their doctors from sturdy to the BMCHP that needed spinals, were not able to get them. So had to fight 7 months with BMCHP for my spinals, in the mean time I was getting none ,becoming less and less mobile every day,to the point of becoming bed ridden. After my doctors, physical therapists, and family watched me deteriorate and were all fighting to get my spinals back, I got them half back. They added a consultation in between every spinal which is a wasted cost, since my spinal team cover everything 3 times over from the time I get their till I leave during my regular spinal visits. Now I get my right half done, then 2 weeks later get a consultation to see if I need my left side done. So then I will get an appointment 2 weeks after that for my left side. So by the time my left side gets done my right side will be wearing off. So I stay in pain constantly. So its double the appointments, double the injections, double having to be put under anesthesia. They have done nothing but cause people and families more harm ,more sorrow, aggravation, inconvenience, pain, messed up peoples lives, families lives, doctors lives watching their patients suffer and keeping their hands tied. Dictating how they should do injections. BMCHP has chosen to tell my spinal doctor how to do my injections half at a time instead of letting my spinal doctor do what's best for me,what has been working for me. BMCHP has chosen for me to be in pain 100% of the time versus letting my doctor do what he was doing keeping me out of pain 50 to 60% of the time. If you want an insurance that dictates to your doctor how to do their job, then this is the insurance for you. The sad part is if I leave this insurance I can go back to the other Mass health insurance I was on and covers me getting my full spinal instead of half at a time, but I lose all my other doctors who fought for me to get my half spinals. If I could of put minus stars I would. They dont deserve even 1 star from this family.
