Something for everyone and every taste.

Something for everyone and every taste.
We made our annual trip to Stratford last week to see two musicals that couldn't have been more dissimilar. Tuesday night was the raunchy, bawdy, rollicking good time Rocky Horror Show. And what a show it was. Great cast working with great material, and an audience that knew all their lines (and then some). I think everyone left the theatre done The Time Warp.
Wednesday afternoon we saw the rather staid by comparison, but equally good in it's own way, The Music Man. My, how sensibilities changed from 1957 to 1973. This show saw another strong cast (many of whom where also in Rocky Horror the night before) singing, dancing and hustling their way around River City with energy and enthusiasm. The big dance number towards the end of the first half of the show was sensational.
All in all, two great shows.
