Balconies were nice, but the weekend hotel staff were absolutely abysmal. After barhopping with some friends on a Sunday night, we were greeted back at the hotel by a stern bouncer speaking limited English, who unfriendily checked all out ID's before letting us into our hotel, which we paid for, and simply wouldn't allow one inebriated friend to use our pull-out couch. In out hotel room. With two beds (only one of which we were using) and a pull-out couch.
Terrible customer service, terribly unfriendly environment. If you want a nice hotel downtown to accommodate barhopping or clubbing, look elsewhere.
