BRILLIANT SERVICE AND A COMFORTABLE LIVELY SETTING
Cumulus is tucked away in Flinders Lane just down from Spring Street.
It's a very quality restaurant with great service and an interesting menu.
Two of us went for a quick meal at 7:30 on a Thursday evening. As always, it was busy, but no so busy that you felt crowded in.
The menu is designed around share plates, ranging size from small, to medium to large.
We shared some oysters, a spicy beef bruschetta, a tuna tartare, exquisite savoury cheese tart, and a roasted pumpkin dish. For drinks we had sparkling water and 2 glasses of wine each - for a very reasonable total of $145.
We were seated at the bar, which I wouldn't normally like, but here at Cumulus, it was fine.
