Apologies for the lengthy review, but I thought people need to be aware of what happened to us.
Our cat got sick and skinny suddenly, while I was on business trip, so my wife took her to this clinic as she went on panic mode and picked the one she remembered (as in the past we took our dogs there too).
She was asked immediately for 900aed consultation fee and 1500aed deposit "for treatments to cover for 2, max 4 days" they said. So she did pay.
They never told her what the charges would be and they agreed that we would be informed about any quotation, prior of executing any treatment, as it should be and as they stated later on, it's their practice. But instead, this never happened.
Yes, she did receive almost daily calls to let her know the conditions and overall improvements of the cat, and once back from my trip I went to visit the cat with my wife, the vet reassured us that there wouldn't be any additional charges as the money paid would cover. I thanked him, twice!
The cat was held for 6 days in total, so we would have expected max 3600 aed if we do the math right?
At the end, my wife goes to collect the cat, and she was given a bill where we had to pay ***additional*** 2400 aed. So in total, for 6 days, we were charge 4800aed!!!
My wife complained, and the bill was brought down immediately to 4300aed. Immediately.
Still, I went to the vet myself because all this didn't look reasonable to me, and tried to get more explanation: why weren't we informed???
Why so much cost???
I wrote a post on Facebook in our Pet lovers group too, to ask advices about the price. I got some replies, where some people thought it was too expensive and definitively unjust.
Conclusion:
The co-owner of the clinic called us and:
A) He lied to us stating my wife told the vet: "I don't need to know about the costs, please cure her no matter what";
B) The vet who assured about the fact that there wouldn't be additional cost, eventually denied everything;
C) Someone also stated that my wife was asked to collect the cat a day earlier??? This never happened!!!
D) To pay us back about our complain (and especially the post on FB where I simply asked for information, that they didn't particularly appreciate), the clinic removed the discount of 500 aed and gave us again the full price (4,800)!!!
So, we are pet lovers, we have cats and dogs, and I know by fact that there are vets out there who do the job for the sake of helping our beloved little friends.
This clinic, proved me effectively, that it's purely business oriented, thus I'll never, ever get 10ft closer to it again!
Again, we are honest people and had pets since I was a baby and consider them family. I felt I've been abused from the behavior and financial point of view.
I thought I would share...

I couldn't expect a different reply from the clinic.
Obviously I'm not the only one complaining about your customer and pets management as well as large use of word and lies to succeed in putting your opinion forward.
BUT.....I'm glad I wasn't the only one speaking up and sharing what you're really made of!!!!!!!
You have good luck with your "business", because this is what it is for you, based on abusing customer's love for their pets and a bunch of lies to protect yourselves from the judgement of the impacted pet lovers...
