Charter Communications, Inc. was attempting to force me to pay for equipment that was in their possession. This ordeal went on for approximately six weeks. I contacted them numerous times explaining that I had already turned in their equipment. I received several calls from collection agencies acting on Charter's behalf. I was very concerned that my credit rating would be damage, so I decided to contact the Better Business Bureau. This was my first experience requesting help from the BBB. From the moment BBB copied me on the email that they sent Charter Communications, I knew I had an ally. BBB gave Charter Communications a specific date to reply to my complaint. Charter contacted me and said that they were working to locate the missing equipment. Within the week, Charter located it. Thank you BBB!
