I was little apprehensive when I saw that processing time is around 52 days for New York office for visitor visa. But I decided to go for it as I saw one user got it under one week. My timeline is as below.
Applied on August 26
Request to Passport submission on August 28, passport submitted in person on that day
Passport pick up on Sep 3 at VAC.
That was really fast, only 6 business days!
