An older property that has aged well. The room was up-to-date, and is formal in it's design and furnishings, with older flourishes like dark stained wood trim and doors. Bay windows add some breathing room to an otherwise standard hotel room layout. Everything was in good condition except for the bathtub enclosure, which was far too small (difficult to avoid rubbing up against shower curtains), the tiles were clean yet clearly old, and an inexplicable dropped acoustic tile ceiling with t-bars that were starting to rust at the edges. Everything about the room was perfect, but this. Internet worked well, but wasn't complimentary with the room. Common areas are expansive and interesting, particularly the large atrium that houses the pool area and part of the restaurant, with a bridge going through it connecting the lobby to the elevators. Nice enough! 7/10
