I'm happy to have RDU as my local airport. It's very convenient, clean, and efficient. I've traveled quite a lot and I would say (by far), this is the best airport in the US. My only gripe is the traffic controllers at the arrival section. They frequently seem to have "power trips" and their use of authority is not consistent and seemingly random (depending on their mood).

EDITED: 4 to 3 stars. This airport needs to get free wifi. This is a public facility and the majority of modern airports offer free wifi. Why not rdu? Here you can access a low grade wifi for about an hour. Then you have to pay $5 an hour?? The monthly rate is reasonable but who the heck needs to pay for monthly wifi access at the airport??
