Overall it's a nice hotel, best so far of the three all inclusive resorts that I've stayed at in Cancun. Rooms are quite large though slightly dated, with a spacious balcony. The vibe is on the relaxed side, generally catering to an older clientele and couples.

Good things:
- lots of pools
- easy to get tables at restaurants
- restaurant and bar staff
- large room with balcony and jacuzzi
- free room service
- nightly entertainment. It's very good.
- large resort and doesn't feel crowded (and we were there for Christmas weekend)

Not so good:
- dated rooms
- beach
- housekeeping (had to call multiple times each day to get coffee maker cleaned and restocked)
- they're alwaysatrying to get you to buy more. As soon as we arrived, we were made to listen to the sales guy for over 30 minutes before they let us go to our room, by which time lunch was over! Imagine waking up at 5am, taking a flight, reaching Cancun, being excited for the resort, but just being sold add-ons from a used car salesman. This one thing made our stay 20% less fun.
- food wasn't great
- booze selection was along the lines of a budget hotel, rather than a luxury hotel. Not many premium options.

Don't go here if you're looking to spend most of your time on the beach. It's quite a bad beach. You're probably better of in the main hotel zone for that. But, if lazing in a pool and hot tub works, this is a great option.
