While I know that COVID-19 is an ever changing situation, Sea Base absolutely mangled their response in 2020.

They require non-refundable deposits 18 months in advance, but wouldn't commit (cancelled or not) until two weeks before our 2020 trek. May 15, everything is a go for a June 7 trek. May 26, sorry we have to cancel, we'll refund all your payments (no interest mind you for the year they had the money), but you'll have to eat your airfare.

BSA did a horrible job across the board for Summer Camp and High Adventure, but this was atrocious. I'm glad my ASMs and I were able to change lodging and SCUBA plans last minute and do the High Adventure on our own.
