Very nice resort to stay in the fall. The golf course is well maintained. The hiking trails are beautiful in October. The perimeter trails are real hiking trails that can be a little challenging to get to but so worth it for the views. The easiest access trail is the one for the Old Appalachian Trail and Shamokin Gorge off of Laurel Springs. There are only a couple of restaurants open between labor day and the start of leaf changing season, but there are a few in town about 25 minutes away. There is also a convenience store at the resort.
