Fantastic place preserved in history. I love how they converted an old subway stop into a museum. The entrance is down the stairs. The exhibit on the crisis response was great especially learning how the MTA responded during 9/11 and hurricanes Sandy and Irene. You learn a lot of history. The chart that tells you how much subway workers earned and how much a hot dog cost 100 years ago is great in teaching kids about inflation. If you go one more level down you find the old trains from the 1900s. The ads are preserved so just for seeing the old ads it was worth it. We came five minutes before opening and the first few got tickets to see a very educational show with actors dressed in 1800s garb. Our visit lasted about 2 hours.
