The Compost Company is world class. Their compost is the richest we've ever used--rich, clean--and it has allowed us to have beautiful gardens despite our horrible clay soil. The first year we used it, I took a chance on a late-summer planting of a small Japanese maple even though everyone said it would never survive. But I dug an enormous hole and filled it with Compost Company compost, and three years later it is thriving. Just as impressive is the company's commitment to the community and a sustainable environment, and they are wonderful educators and enthusiasts ambassadors for a circular economy. Tennessee is lucky to have them.
