When I booked a private glass blowing class at Caliente I was looking for something different to do for the first time with my husband and celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The experience was above my highest expectations. It was really interesting, surprising and fun to learn about this art and create a piece together.
The part that I loved the most is that our piece resembles our relationship. Both the piece and our love had gone through the same steps: Since the beginning we choose the form, the colors and how we want it to be. It was scary at some times, and intriguing at others. We pass it trough heat, it melt and then it got stronger. We did some things over and over thinking that nothing was really changing when actually it was getting better and better. The result is beautiful and fragile, but we know that if we take care of it it will last forever, just like our love.
Thank you Glen for this wonderful experience, we'll be back with our kids and friends!
