Good work, and good prices, but overall a negative experience.

I hired them for a second job after the first went well, and regretted it afterwards.

The second time around, one worker made crass and slanderous remarks to me about the owner of the company and the office staff, and was then rude to my wife. To their credit, when we called to complain, they were apologetic and he was removed from the job, and we were later assured that appropriate action had been taken. We were satisfied with this.

After the first job, I had to call several times to request a total balance, with tax - leaving a message every time and never getting a call back. They finally got back to me when the second job was requested, citing COVID and remote workers as a reason, which I accepted. I handed a check to one of the people who was there for that second job, with the understanding from the company that this was fine. Later, after again having to request a balance with tax for the second job (only once this time), I sent in a check for that. Neither check was ever cashed and I later had to stop payment on both and issue a payment on a credit card over the phone, when they billed me for both jobs, basically accusing me of failure to pay - which is amusing, considering how hard I had to pursue the to get a balance.

This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and is proof to me that the cheapest option, even if the work is good, does not make up for woeful unprofessionalism.

Money is not everything, and I will have to think long and hard about using them again for my next project. It might not be worth the hassle...
