Like music? Then you already know about 9:30 and all that stuff. Don't like music? Then why the heck are you reading this review about a music venue? You must really like chicken tenders.

So it's a music venue. Nothing fancy, except for the coat check. Never had that down home. We just tied the thing around our waist.

There are 3 bars and even at packed shows you tend to get served in a timely manner. The angles to see the stage up top are great and the floor down low has plenty of room for those times when you just lose your self to a Madonna song. You'd be the only one though as she goes tot he Verizon center and not here. Way to be weird there broseph.

I will admit that they can pump up the prices a lot for bigger bands but usually it's worth it to grab some friends and head here for a lesser-known band as well as a very popular band. The kids do get in but they don't seem to bother us.

Don't get me wrong, they do still host some great small bands who aren't yet on the billboard top 20 so don't get your hopes up that you'll never see Jamie T in DC.

As far as the food goes, I hear they have decent pub-style snacks. Tenders, chicken sammiches and the like. I've never eaten here, though. That's what Duffy's is for across the street.
