Review of Griffin Ford

Thank you very much for the effort and work put in...

Thank you very much for the effort and work put in by the service team, especially Paul Sadowski. The used vehicle I bought from Griffin Ford needed a new driver side turbo with approximately 48,000 miles on it. Paul worked with the third party warranty company to get the parts that needed replaced covered through the warranty. Thank you very much. I really appreciate all the effort.

I do have concerns though that Griffin Ford is not properly checking their used vehicles before allowing them to be sold. Hence the reason for the 3 out of 5 stars. I purchased a 2014 F-150 with approximately 40,000 miles on the truck. After driving approximately 2 weeks, I noticed that the plastic intake to the driver side turbo was sheared off at the rubber connection where it meets the turbo. I brought it back to Griffin Ford quite frustrated because I just spent a substantial amount of money there and the vehicle already had something wrong with it. The used car sales team replaced the broken part no questions ask. I was very thankful for that. 7,000 miles later and I noticed that the driver side turbo was not consistently spooling up when on acceleration. After driving around for approximately a week like this, I finally brought it back in to Griffin Ford for them to assess the turbo. The service team informed me that it needed to be replaced. Luckily, the turbo was covered by the extended warranty I purchased when I bought the truck. I am not sure if the Griffin Ford service team informed the used car sales team about the issue on the truck, but I was quite frustrated and disappointed about the situation. The turbo should not have needed to be replaced with only 48,000 miles on the vehicle. Something was wrong with the vehicle when Griffin Ford sales team sold me the truck. The used car sales team probably did not know that the vehicle had internal issues, but I hope this message serves as a warning to other potential buyers. Be careful when buying a used vehicle from Griffin Ford. Sometimes the bottom dollar trumps the quality that they are advertising.
