Upon arrival there is no doubt it's a stunning hotel, there is a door man that welcomes you upon entering and a short staircase up to the beautiful lobby. Staff seems very nice for the most part, checking in was a good experience. The elevator was another experience on its own, you need the key card to go anywhere in it which kind of threw us off because we weren't told how to use it. When you reach your room, no matter what suite you stay in it's very nice and very comfortable. The bedding was soft and fluffy like a cloud, the bathroom was beautiful and glass, and the furniture was modern with a classic touch. The hotel itself was very hot, even when you turn the temperature in your room down it stays the little to be desired temperature. You pay for what you get and no doubt it was a great hotel. The breakfast buffet in the morning in the downstairs restaurant was very overpriced (mid 80's $) for some toast and coffee, I get that it's a 4 star hotel but your toast isn't worth that much. When we left and came back later in the day we did the "mark" test on the blankets and pillowcases, and they other changed particular sheets or certain pillowcases, and did not take the dirty towels, they just threw new ones on top, and forgot to take the garbage. It almost looked like they barely touched the room which to me seems weird because the ramada or holiday had always done everything. The services in the hotel close earlier, the gym was closed when we went down and the staff was very rude about it when the asked us to leave given now one had told us either that it closed at all... checking out was extremely rushed and not friendly at all. The hotel overall was very nice, but now knowing what it's like I will definitely expect a little less when I stay now.
