Authentic Korean Buddhist temple. I ve lived in Bong Won Sa in Seoul S. Korea, and with the exception of having to fetch your own water every morning from a mountain top creek, this is the truest experience you ll find sans being directly in the homeland. Also, they are very Caucasian friendly. The abbot speak English well enough to have coffee with and this temple also has a magnanimous English and Korean speaking American monk who lives there full-time and his life experience is over 30 years in the study. I love this place. You can even meditate there 24/7 and the offerings are based on the honor system and are optional. Amazing.
