Two words "last resort". First of all its one of the only indoor shopping centers in the city(Manhattan for the uninitiated). It's close to 34th st aka tourist central. All and all I try to avoid this place like the plague too many tourists the stores never have enough staff and on the holidays it's a zoo. The one saving grace is its right above the train station so you can run in and run out and when it's really cold and you have to do some shopping it's warm. Btw the food court stinks but the seating is decent.
