I've purchased numerous products from Do My Own and I've always appreciated the products and price. But now I have a problem with a product ruining my pull behind pump sprayer and I called to ask which fungicides they carry that I can purchase that wouldn't ruin my new pump that I had to replace.
They said they had no idea. I asked to speak to a manager and "of course" no manager is available. I have always hated when calling in for service and you the the "no manager is in" response. Of course there is a manager in and all I wanted was some advice on which fungicide to use because the two that I already purchased will ruin my new pump.
I wasn't holding them responsible. I didn't want to return anything. I only wanted advice on which product would work. I never expected a "I don't know. Call your pump manufacture".
My pump manufacturer told me what my pump was made with. Viton valves and Santipreem diaphram. They told me to call Do My Own to find out which fungicides would work with this type of pump. The girl in customer service at Do My Own didn't even want to hear what materials my pump was made with. She just said they carry over 25,000 products and how were they to know what products work in what tank sprayers.
Since they sell products specifically for tank sprayers, you would think they would know what works where. Instead, she just deflected and was just trying to justify why she couldn't help me. I asked for someone else that may have more knowledge and she got offended and said there wasn't anybody. Of course....
