I went to pick up my Annual pass that I purchased online, & as it was quiet, i decided to stay for the last tour of the day & am so pleased I did!

The staff are so friendly as I was made to feel welcome the moment I walked through the door, the shop has lots of little souvenirs & the cafe looks lovely, & has a nice view out the window with an outside seating area for the summer season.

Ollie our guide was great as he took us round, his knowledge is amazing about the history of these caves which are truly outstanding, I can't believe in the 25 years I have been going to Devon, I have never visited them until today.

We were allowed to take photos whenever we wanted to, but out of respect I waited until Ollie had finished talking, ( which is why I missed out on so many good photographs)!

The whole tour lasted a full hour, then we were allowed to look around the last section alone, but could ask questions about it if we were unsure of anything, there was no ushering us out even though it was all now closed for the day.

I really did enjoy this visit & look forward to going back again soon, Ollie said there are lots of other guides & each one does the tour differently, so I may go on a different one next time, but this one was special.
