We came here during Christmas time to check out the competition gingerbread houses display and browse the area. Everything was very festive, decorated and pleasant - we really enjoyed the historical side. I'm only giving it 3 stars because the restaurants and the cafe didn't have vegan options except a boring salad and fruit cups - no cookies, donuts, vegan pizza or such - these easy to make foods are practically everywhere nowadays. Also when we accidentally ended up in the corridor that led to rooms I noticed the old stained carpet and the "old" smell, but we didn't stay there overnight so don't know about the rooms' condition.
