Ijeoma Mba Review of Keystone Management, Inc

This is my experience at Harbor Pointe Apartments in Greenville, NC 6/11/2020:
I was not going to write this review, because some of the people here have been nice. But I'm so infuriated by how discomforting it is to live here. One of the maintanace men is so rude that I cannot believe he even has a job. They have someone repairing an ac next door and the person has been walking in and out of the unit obnoxiously slamming the door for HOURS now. I know that what they're doing must be a noisy job, but the slamming of the door is completely UN NECESSASRY. At this point I believe he is doing it on purpose because he heard me report it to the leasing office. He literally just did it 2 times since I started writing this review. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
I relocated here from 2 hours away in Durham. I regret ever signing a lease here. I should have kept looking but with the type of work I do, I don't get much time off to move and hunt for places. The unit I moved into was not cleaned thouroughly. But I liked the place (even though the flooring has humps in it all over the place) so I decided I would just deep clean it myself. The issues didn't end there. The unit has a roach infestation. I noticed it on my first night here. When I came into the kitchen and turned on the light, they were everywhere. In a kitchen where I hadn't even cooked anything yet! When I do cook I have to constantly cover every little thing and watch closely for baby roaches! It's inconvenient, not to mention GROSS! Someone has been here to spray twice during the 2 weeks (and 4 days) that I've been here and nothing has changed.
There is a serious plumbing issue. When I run the water to take a bath, sand, and orange water comes out. Also, the water smells like feces. Every single time that I take a shower, if I go downstairs and come back, there is a sewage smell coming from the bathroom that covers the entire top floor of the apartment. I cannot even take a shower. I have done it a few times because I had no choice but the smell stays on my skin and hair, so there really is no point of even bathing! Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've officially been living this way for over two weeks. I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks for this issue to be resolved! I can't even eat! I've lost my appetite. I haven't eaten a proper meal in days! I'm 100% disgusted.
They say they are moving me to a new unit tomorrow but I honestly wish that I could just leave. This is the worst place I have ever lived in. I've lived in the hood before and it still was not as bad as this. I am a virtual call center owner, meaning I work from home. I mentioned this multiple times before I even spent hundreds of dollars transporting my things from Durham to Greenville. When I got here, I had to miss an entire week of work due to wiring issues. The cable company just came and installed the internet anyway about a week later. They finally came and fixed the wiring yesterday and the internet is still slow.
Please don't make the mistake I did. I was in such a hurry that I did not look at the property before agreeing to move in. Take a look and don't base your decision on what I said. See it for yourself.
Update: They never called or stopped by to update me or give me the keys to the new unit. I mentioned meeting them at 3pm to look at it, but I was interviewing new people for my call center and had a bunch of work to do. So I assumed because this is an URGENT MAINTENANCE ISSUE that they would call. I looked up at the clock, it was 5 pm. They were closed. I had not one missed call, no email, nothing. They literally let me live here for almost a month with contaminated water. I want out of the lease. I will never ever rent from any Keystone Management property ever again. Don't. Do. It.
