The Izmailovo Gamma Delta is a huge hotel with 28 floors. Although it is a bit away from downtown Moscow, it is within easy walking distance of the metro (station Partizanskaya is only 300 meters away). We were on the 25th floor and had a great view. The rooms are a bit dated - but match the ambience. Of course, because of the size of the hotel there are always a lot of tourists traveling on and off. At the reception it sometimes happens like at the airport. The hotel is apparently popular with Chinese people. In the large breakfast room there is a rich buffet for every taste. Otherwise, there are several restaurants and small supermarkets around the hotel. Be sure to visit the Izmailovo market next to the hotel. There is almost everything to buy here. In addition to countless professional traders, there are also private flea market vendors. Outstanding are the freshly grilled shashlicks. Back to the hotel: the hotel is ideal for those looking for budget accommodation on their moscow trip. Of course it is not a 5 star hotel, but for the price it is absolutely fine. I deducted a star because of the outdated rooms. Nevertheless, I would stay there again.
