A week ago, I paid $327 for oil and yearly inspection. I was told that the front brake pads should be replaced immediately since no pads (0mm) are left. Their estimate was $783 including rotors. I brought my car elsewhere, and checked the brake. Surprisingly, I saw the pads still have about 2mm left. They recommended the same front brake job even one year ago saying only 1mm was left at that time. What is strange is their measurement of the rear brake pads. One year ago, it was 2mm, and it is now 3mm. The brake pads got thicker by 1mm after a year. They say they just inspect the pads visually, but they probably didn't inspect the brakes at all. So the error of mm is not a big deal. That is what you pay for their Porsche-trained technicians. They are just making up the service recommendations.

So I asked for the refund of the fee for the inspection which they didn't perform. The owner's reply was very blunt. The point he was making is that human makes mistakes, and go elsewhere if I don't trust them. He emphasized that his technicians are Porsche-trained. Everything they do is also a mistake. They charge 10 quarts of oil for 8 quarts they use, and you pay them twice as much for oil. Their original estimate of $783 for the brake job was also a mistake. The correct estimate was $1364. There may be Porsche-trained technicians there, but they don't work on your cars.

If you have money to spare, it is ok. But if you care about your car, avoid this dealer. Mr. Allis, the owner, is a very angry and evasive person. So are his employees.
