Many times I had to wait 45 min for nurse/aid to respond. I finally peed in a glass and gave them that for the urine test. Another time I had a splitting headache and finally took the Tylenol I had in my purse when no one responded.

I was given the wrong urinary test when omitted and was told to do another one shortly before I was to leave. I had to wait at least two more hours before I was able to do it.

But worst of all, the head doctor pulled me abruptly off the lithium I had been on for 22 years and I was told not to start it up again when I went home. As a result I have been fighting new irregular sleep patterns and chronic fatigue since coming home 7 weeks ago. Although my psychiatrist says lithium shouldn t have side effects, the literature and my primary care physician disagree. All agree I never should have been pulled off it abruptly. The irony of it all: I had recently learned that I am NOT Bipolar and never should have been on it. I ve moved several times and you d think one my new psychiatrists would have reviewed my background.. I intend to report this to the Florida Board of Health.

I was at Blake another time and not
given my medicine at all the first night. I was told by the nurse at 11:30 pm that I should have told the doctor what I needed.
