I stayed one night during the week after Thanksgiving. The resort was beautifully decorated for Christmas throughout the entire place. When we checked in, they kindly upgraded our room for free to overlook the garden in the Cascade part of the hotel. There are a lot of neat things to check out in the hotel including a fountain show and the many decorated gardens. We even saw a boat ride on the indoor river! There is also an outdoor nativity with a reading. The water park (indoor and outdoor) were both closed while we were there. We checked in around 7 PM. There is also a neat arcade and several shopping options. We are at the restaurant Fuse. The price and food were what you would expect for a touristy restaurant - over priced for mediocre food. I would definitely recommend this for a weekend getaway for couples and families.
