We stayed in this hotel for 1 week of sunbathing in the last week of October. What we didn't know beforehand, it was also the last week before the end of the season for this hotel. We noticed that on the second day. First the buffet was cut in half, then the pool chairs at the pool were cleared away and from the middle of the week the pool chairs on the beach were literally taken from under our "butts". On the last day there were no more chairs on the beach. We were asked to go to the nearest hotel on the beach. The beach wasn't cleaned in the last week either. At first only the cable ties of the removed sun sails were lying in the sand, there were also all sorts of leftovers like full diapers, used feminine hygiene articles, etc. disgusting.
The food was cruel. Every day a mini selection in a 5 star hotel and the same every day. Ideal for a diet. The waiters in the restaurants were rather unfriendly and very slow. Drinks (except in the restaurants) were only ever available in paper cups. No matter from coffee, cola, beer or Londrinks. Even in the evening at the bar there were glasses only when specifically asked. There was no entertainment during the day or evening.
We didn't feel like guests this week, but rather as tolerated. The staff was just annoyed.
The hit was in the middle of the week when we were accused in writing of taking a spoon in the restaurant. We never took dishes or cutlery to the room. Of course we wanted to complain to management. But more than a short phone call at the reception was not possible. We are waiting for an apology until today.
By the way, we were the 6th but guaranteed the last time in this hotel!
