My experience with them was quite different. I admit that gathering all the necessary documents were time consuming (I mean it should be, if they want to let you into their country they need to know some details of your life), though after I submitted my application it took only 6 days for my visa to be approved. I guess they have changed their procedure and now it is pretty decent.
I can only complain about they slow running website.
