What a treat! This place is tucked into the Stanford University campus and is full of permanent collection artwork spanning from the early Egyptian and Roman Empire all the way to the modern exhibit (Ends 1/6/2019) of Andy Warhol's photography.

The outdoor Rodin sculpture garden is a must-see. The indoor rotunda housing "The Thinker" is incredible to see up close as it is rather large.

The Andy Warhol exhibit was the highlight of the museum. With so much photos, contact sheets, enlargements and subsequent prints/silkscreens which lead to Warhol's iconic works. The celebrities depicted in his photos are a great time capsule of those times (70's and 80's) and NYC nightlife.

A must-visit location.

Did I mention it's free. Tours are free as well.
