I have a 6 year old daughter who I signed up for Camp Shi'ini last summer and she had a WONDERFUL experience. The activities at Camp Shi'ini are really remarkable. My little girl came home every day after camp and relayed to us some of the most amazing stories of her adventures at Camp Shi'ini. She went canoeing, she shot bows and arrows, she swam, she hiked, and she painted a wooden totem pole that's still in our family room and it well over 3 and a half feet high. And perhaps her favorite activity was participating in an elaborate treasure hunt where the kids team up with costumed Native American Indian good-guys and then find a treasure and save the world from costumed bad-guys and villains. (It really makes me wish that I was a kid again!) And just as I could not believe that such an adventure could ever be orchestrated, we received a set of DVDs last month from the camp which showed the entire treasure hunt adventure of last summer. Like I said, I wish I was a kid again and could go to Camp Shi'ini too! My daughter is returning to Camp Shi'ini in a few months for another summer of adventure. I highly recommend the camp. It's not cheap, but it has a huge 'bang for the buck' and your kids will definitely not be disappointed! Give them a try.
