As Haghia Sophia used to be a cathedral then a mosque, you will see there few items, paintings and decorations of both Christian and Islamic backgrounds, which gives this place a unique ambiance for all visitors. You'll need to go up on the second level to better see the main yard of the place and to better appreciate its beauty.
