It was hard to see grandma like that, but a few things stuck out to me as someone in the medical field. I appreciated that they arranged all of their IV's and tubing in a way that was minimally intrusive and that she was allowed to maintain her dignity with tidy blanketing and positioning. This meant a lot to me. They might seem like small things but they all add up.
