This place has been a complete nightmare for my father. He was in the cardiac unit (which is a joke) and could not breath. He actually thought he was going to die and his nurse Kevin refused to call the on call dr because my fathers vitals on the machines were fine. As my father was gasping for air he threatened to call 911 from his hospital room so he would recieve some care and finally Kevin broke down and called the on call dr and got my father a breathing treatment. Trust me he acted like he was going out of his way and very unpleasant. Most of the other staff was nice. My father is still in there for afib....9 days. I think he would be better off recoving at home without the threat of contracting mrsa, pneumonia, and all sorts of diseases u can contract in a hospital. He would sleep better at home because you have to share a room. The guy he shares a room with has dememtia and keeps my father up all night. I am wondering if he didnt have good insurance if they would have kept him this long. I would like him to be released to his cardiologist in WI so he could receive quality care. I would avoid this hospital at all costs if you want to live and be able to see a doctor.
