Kriterion on the Roetersstraat in Amsterdam is a nice and cozy cinema to go to. They have two spacious screens there and a good selection of films, both recent and older films.
Downstairs a cozy bar and outside with a number of seats in front of the glass windows. I've been coming there for years, and only the type of music downstairs changes a bit.
