Hi I went with my girlfriend and her family for her mother s birthday dinner. Absolutely shocked to see the level of service provided. There were certain dishes that we requested I.e paneer that contained no onion and garlic as my girlfriends parents are Jain. Sadly they received it with the onion and garlic, when we complained to the manager came running out and told the waiter off and said it d come out of his wages it was absolutely shocking to see a member of their staff get spoken to like that. To top it up we ordered couple of bottles of wine which sad to say one had gone off you can tell with the taste, again when we mentioned this the manager was adamant we were wrong and he was right then he started to argue with my girlfriend. It was so embarrassing as we heard this restaurant was better than madhus we thought we d test the waters with this one, shocked to see the low level of respect and service absolutely disappointed! Avoid at all costs as when we complained it was just ignored.
This is recommended by the most famous chefs ....surely it s changed! I ll be good and give it 2
I ll stick to Benares !
