Last week I did sightseeing in Dresden and was extremely excited about the famous Semper Opera House. Well what can I say !? The opera is a disaster! Not only does it not even come close to the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, worse, it looks totally run down and cheap! For me, the Semperoper is just a tourist trap and therefore not recommended, no matter how cool it looks in the beer advertising on TV!
