Mimmoon Review of Coca-Cola

We visited here on our 4th of July trip to Atlanta. This is a must go place for anyone visiting the area, a Coke (as in Cola) lover, or anyone fascinated by entrepreneurial history. There's so much to say, as there was so much that happened. Well to begin, did you know Coke was invented by a Pharmacist here in Atlanta, and that the secret formula is stored in a vault at this location?!
Don't underestimate how much time can be spent here; it can easily take up half of your day. But allocate at least 2-3 hours, especially if you go during peak time. We went around 2 PM and there was a long waiting line for both the ticket purchasing and to enter the place. After going through security (metal detector), you're offered to sample a mini can of coke (there are a few to choose from), before entering the introductory room. The introductory room is filled with major artifacts from Coke's timeline. An employee welcomed us, and gave a brief introduction on the World Of Coca-Cola, and how to navigate through the site.
Inside, there are various exhibits you can visit to learn more about the chronological history of Coke. Some of my favorite exhibits were the manufacturing process, which walked us through the multiple pieces of equipment in their production line, as well as the Vault. There, you could go through the historical competitors of Coke, and impostors who claimed they had the secret recipe of Coke. Ultimately, you're led to a room where you can view the vault that stores the secret recipe. The 4-D theater with 3-D glasses and motion seats was engaging. I like the messages they convey, which were themed around us as the consumers, being the secret behind Coke's success excellent marketing strategy. If you're tired from all that touring, I recommend you charge your phone for free in their securely enclosed charging station (just need to enter your credit card for security and safety), and head over to their commercial viewing room. There you can lounge comfortably, while they play various Coke product commercials from all around the world.
Don't forget to take a picture with their mascot the Coca-Cola Polar Bear! They take your picture, but you can have someone else take your picture with your phone, concurrently. They have employees that can take your pictures in most exhibits; they give you a unique number card that can be redeemed to purchase your pictures in the Coca-Cola store before exiting. But don't exit before you go to their tasting room! They have various Coke products to sample from around the world (Asia, Latin America, Europe, North America, and Africa); it's amazing to taste the unique twist from each continent. In my opinion, the tasting room experience of the exhibit is worth the entire admission fee, as you wouldn t be able to taste those drinks unless you traveled the world.
To conclude this amazing tour, you can shop in their Coke store before exiting. I bought an Atlanta Coke can fridge magnet to preserve this unique experience. I recommend everybody to check out this iconic, history-rich, adventure through the World of Coca-Cola. Cheers!
