K Brown Review of Go Configure
I purchased the Skyfort II Cedar Swing Set at Sams...
I purchased the Skyfort II Cedar Swing Set at Sams Club and was referred to Go Configure for delivery and assembly. My experience was so bad I would like to leave zero stars, but Google makes you select at least one star to post your review.
I was told it could take up to two weeks for delivery, seems reasonable - and assembly would be done by a "team" of individuals, that normally complete the work in one day. However, if they cannot complete in a day, will come back the following day to finish up, but two days at the most. To make a long story short, they sent one person to complete the assembly, which ended up taking him fours days total, over the course of a month. The swing set was purchased on March 12, and completed on April 16. And let me not forget to mention the fact that they charged me $700 for this. Any time I called their customer service line I was given the run around, half the time they couldn't answer any of my questions. I was transferred to two different managers on separate occasions after numerous calls. I was eventually connected with a manager that explained I could file an appeasement, and they would credit me back some of the money for their incompetence; however, I would have to wait until the service was complete to file this formal complaint - this was the week of March 22 when my assembly was originally supposed to be completed. I spoke to this manager today, and was told they were refunding me $50... So now I paid $650 to be given the run around for over a month, nothing but headaches, and stripped nails with chipped wood and cracks - including a few pictures for your reference.
